Inspired to Dance

Head for Business
Head for Business

Aaron Augustus, 21, is one of the stars of Channel 4’s ground breaking project, Year Dot, which focuses on the dreams and aspirations of fifteen young people as they go through a life-changing year.

Currently working as a dance/drama tutor, teaching in primary schools, secondary schools, pupil referral units and community centres, Aaron’s dream is to set up his own business, the Inspired Youth Dance Company and he has been coming to Head for Business for advice on his business planning, marketing and communications strategy.

Aaron is a member of a dance group called UNITY and spends his spare time working with the group in preparation to compete in the World Dance Championships in Germany next summer.

You can keep up with Aaron’s development by watching ‘Year Dot’ on Channel 4 or through the blogs, messages and videos on the Year Dot website, where others are invited to give Aaron or any of the fourteen other young people advice and support and to share their own experiences.

Business of the Month Award
Head for Business

Soheila Keyani and her business Project Love is the recipient of this month's Business of the Month Award (BOMA).

A self-initiated art and culture project, Soheila started Project Love as a response to visiting a photographic exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, where one photo of two young boys in a jail in Russia captured her attention. Feeling that they looked lost, she wondered how art could make a difference in their lives,

Now, Soheila runs workshops giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to paint pictures and have them sent to others around the world, who also paint pictures and send it to others in a sharing of love.
